COMMUNITY: National Anthem/Frisco Roughriders

Thursday, May 26, 2022

It was an honor to sing the Star Spangled Banner at this Frisco Roughriders game at Dr. Pepper Stadium in Frisco, Texas. In the wake of tragedy at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, I was emotional. Then, I thought of us leading into the Memorial Day holiday. A federal holiday in United States for mourning the U.S. military personnel who have died while serving in the US armed forces. This caused me to become more emotional.

But my emotions were put to the side when, on the morning of May 26, 2022, the Lord told me what my assignment was in singing the Star Spangled Banner. He shared with me that HIS sound was going to ring out of my voice! His sound was going to touch all four corners of the city of Frisco and the surrounding regions! (WOW!)

This took everything up a notch! I was honored and I didn't take it lightly!

Thank you, Lord! 💕🙌🏾💕
